Je cherchais simplement quelque chose pour aider mon esprit et mes muscles \u00e0 se d\u00e9tendre, car le soccer est un sport tr\u00e8s exigeant mentalement et physiquement.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Mais, comme beaucoup de gens qui sont nouveaux au yoga, je n\u2019avais <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">aucune id\u00e9e<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> des r\u00e9percussions qu\u2019il aurait sur ma vie au-del\u00e0 des \u00e9tirements. Je n\u2019avais <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">aucune id\u00e9e<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> qu\u2019il m\u2019aiderait \u00e0 devenir la <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/beyondtype2.org\/connecting-mental-health-and-physical-health-to-diabetes\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">version la plus saine et la plus heureuse de moi-m\u00eame<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. Et je n\u2019avais absolument <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">aucune id\u00e9e<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u00e0 quel point cela m\u2019aiderait \u00e0 g\u00e9rer ma vie avec mon DT1, un d\u00e9fi auquel je faisais face depuis l\u2019\u00e2ge de 7\u00a0ans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">M\u00eame si je n\u2019ai pas commenc\u00e9 \u00e0 faire du yoga pour m\u2019aider \u00e0 mieux g\u00e9rer mon diab\u00e8te, le pratiquer chaque jour m\u2019aide \u00e0 y arriver. Voici trois fa\u00e7ons dont le yoga vous peut vous aider \u00e0 ma\u00eetriser votre diab\u00e8te\u00a0:<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><b>Le yoga vous apprend \u00e0 \u00eatre plus disciplin\u00e9.<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">L\u2019ancien chef militaire Jocko\u00a0Willink affirme que \u00ab\u00a0la discipline \u00e9gale la libert\u00e9\u00a0\u00bb. Lorsque vous \u00eates sur votre tapis, vous faites face \u00e0 des postures ou \u00e0 des moments inconfortables, mais votre professeur vous guide pour aider \u00e0 mieux respirer, \u00e0 vous concentrer sur votre intention et, au fil du temps, vous remarquerez une croissance et une force dans cette posture particuli\u00e8re. Quand on vit avec cette maladie, il y a des bons et des mauvais jours. Les mauvais jours, je me suis entra\u00een\u00e9e \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir et \u00e0 me dire\u00a0: \u00ab\u00a0Qu\u2019est-ce que j\u2019aurais pu contr\u00f4ler pour que ma glyc\u00e9mie soit dans les valeurs normales toute la journ\u00e9e? Qu\u2019est-ce qui \u00e9tait hors de mon contr\u00f4le?\u00a0\u00bb Cela m\u2019a appris \u00e0 contr\u00f4ler ce que je peux, \u00e0 laisser aller ce que je ne peux pas et \u00e0 continuer d\u2019aller de l\u2019avant. L\u2019\u00e9tat d\u2019esprit est le meilleur outil dont vous disposez.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<h3><b>Le yoga nous rend plus conscients de nos choix alimentaires.<\/b><\/h3>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Contrairement \u00e0 de nombreux autres exercices, le yoga vous force \u00e0 \u00eatre pr\u00e9sent et \u00e0 faire de l\u2019introspection. Apr\u00e8s une s\u00e9ance de 60\u00a0minutes qui consiste \u00e0 r\u00e9fl\u00e9chir et \u00e0 \u00eatre conscient de tout ce que vous venez de faire pour votre corps \u2013 am\u00e9liorer la circulation, faire des torsions pour vos organes, bouger pour am\u00e9liorer la digestion, ouvrir le centre de votre c\u0153ur \u2013 il est tr\u00e8s peu probable que vous irez manger un Big Mac et des frites apr\u00e8s le cours.
